Why not divided manifold..
I was thinking if divided manifold is SO MUCH better then non divided why not any big manufactures like HKS/Greddy make divided manis ( at least Iīve never seen)? IF they do where can I get one?
|
when you say "divided" do you mean that each exhaust port has its own separate "pipe"
If you do, then why not just call it a header. that is what the aftermarket companies and the rest of us have bee calling it for years now.... |
There seems to be a lot of trouble with terminology today. I blame the skools. :)
If this means intake, they are divided. If this means exhaust, he means header, of which there are some available (racing beat for example). If he means turbo exhaust manfold, they are also available (from Taka kiara or just all over eBay). I really just should have said "do a search." |
HKS does.
Trust / GReddy doesn't cause their Mitsubishi turbos all come collected. -Ted |
because divided manifolds cost 4x more money.... they wouldn't sell too many.
|
well sorry if my terminology sucks but english isnīt my mother tongue so... !and yes I was talking about exhaust manifold. So Racing Beat has one. have to go check..
Only manifold Iīve seen on ebay is this and if I see correctly itīs not divided.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742 And what youīve said itīs a piece of junk if I recall. |
Racingbeat makes a divided NA exhaust manifold (header....)
The only turbo manifold I have ever seen that is divided is the HKS cast one. But I'm sure there are others. |
XS Engineering also makes a divided cast.

i thought the hks was undivided.
