Interesting...Someone should email him and ask to spread the word on those "Anti denotation" spark plugs...It sounds like he should be willing to warranty the engine against blowing up...

banzaitoyota 07-02-03 09:18 AM

I already did that. Here is the response!!!!

BAhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

OMG

OK...ok...ok

Im guessing the spark plugs them self are anti-detonation. Spark plugs can get so hot that they can ignite the fuel before the controlled spark. that is what he means. In aviation as well as racing sparkplugs can be considered hot ot cold. Hot plugs are for high compression engines and cold plugs are for low compressin engines.

fastrotaries 07-02-03 10:56 AM

um they're made of wood, and the engine never starts, thus never allowing itself to destruct.

Don't know just my guess.

Barwick 07-02-03 12:38 PM

He's probably using ultra cold plugs, which absolutely suck for street driving. All the heat leaves the plugs and goes into the housings which causes crap to build up on the plugs.

Still won't stop detonation from overboost/lean mixture.. what a dolt.

ForsakenRX7 07-03-03 02:05 AM

haha. I love that line... me and afk limitz got 2 of our coworkers into rx7s now and we use that line on them all the time

ForsakenRX7 07-03-03 02:12 AM

That saying needs to be put on the shirts. It would confuse them even more than explaining your car has a rotary engine.:p:

ilike2eatricers 07-03-03 02:30 AM

seriously a tshirt saying that would be great!

ERAUMAZDA 07-03-03 10:26 AM

5 point whoa 07-13-03 10:45 PM

yeah, I have never heard of anything like those

Bigretardhead 07-13-03 11:37 PM

This is a turbo car that runs on '87 octane fuel !!
and the anti-detonation plugs allow it to run on 87 ?

Rotory 07-14-03 09:26 AM

my TII runs on 87 on my regular old NGK non- anti-detonation spark plugs...lol....what a maroon:)

c-squared 07-14-03 02:33 PM
