Why did my cold start accel warm up stop working?

....the last few times I cold started my 88t2 is just immediatly sputtered to around 1000rpm. What should I check/adjust?

thanks

hey :)

mine does that too sometimes... I think that the fast idle cam sometimes sticks in the hot position, try lubing it up...

I believe there is a sensor on the bottom of the radiator for this, check the FSM chapter 4.

Sensor on the bottom of radiator, Neutral/In-gear switch on the tranny.

If your switch on your tranny is broken, the car thinks its in gear all the time. And when your in gear, the AWS is disabled.

Why would you want the AWS to work?

Yeah the Aws is somewhat redundant. remove the tank, cap the lines and be done with it. It's one less thing to worry about. I usually just start the car in gear .. so it DOESNT bump up to 3000 rpms.. It's like being woken up in the morning with a trupet to your ears. i'm sure after a while you would get tired of the trumpet right?
well if you dont have cats, you dont need to accellerate their warm up..
so remove the system, and let your engine wake up quietly and calmly

My Neighbors hate that AWS. One of them asked me why I was trying to kill my engine, and I explained the car was designed to do it. He walked away shaking his head and say "Dumb Design..."

The tank's for the sub-zero start assist fluid, not the AWS. Two different systems. ;)
