Who has a reliable TII with more than 300whp

How many of you are running a hybrid / hi-flow / uberstock turbo with bigger secondary injectors on a stock block (no porting). How long has your car been running this configuration and have you had any issues with reliability?

I've got a stock block with fmic, t3/t4, and a chipped ecu. I'm sure my car will run reliably for quite a while, but is it possible that I could have gone with a bigger turbo, bigger secondary injectors and still retained the integrity of the stock block?

Uh huh.

There are plenty of us who have never had never been stranded or had running issues.

These are the people who choose the correct parts when modding, and know when a part needs to be replaced.

In the 5 years of owning RX-7s, not once have I not been able to drive it when I had it insured.

If your car is so unreliable, perhaps you should fix it.

A 300 hp RX-7 can be very reliable if modified correctly. Obviously, this would have to have forced induction, as 300 hp N/A engines aren't usually ranked by their reliability.

The key to reliability is an aftermarket EMS. Hands down.

i was being a smartass, didnt even read the thread....i then read the thread and forgot to edit.....muh bad......my car is actually very reliable but i dont have a t2 nor am i an any arena to answer your question. Peace, props.

My car has no issues actually, I'm just trying to find out if i can get more power out of it and still maintain my status of "no issues". I'm gonna guess 250whp right now, but what does it take to make 300whp and not worry about internals breaking? Does my turbo need to be bigger than a t3/t4? should i have gone t04?

I'm /about/ to, does that count?

and yes. Standalone EMS is the reliability godsend. just get a good tune.

I hope to have a reliable 400HP TII in the next 8 months or so. But for now, I'm looking for 300hp reliably. Have to get my car back and tuned first though.
