white smoke=coolant seals?

i was sitting at a drive thru the other day and all of a sudden my car starts blowing alot of white smoke out the exhaust. the car wasnt over heating in fact it was below the half way mark, and the idle was fine. so i pull out into traffic and its still smoking bad but after a min it stoped and hasnt done it since, and still runs strong. i heard white smoke means the coolant seals are bad, not sure if thats true or not. also im wondering if maybe i was just burning up something that got combusted or something? help me out if you can !

thanks in advance!

White smoke usually means bad coolant seals, but I dunno in your case. It is usually seen mainly at startup. Even when it was dumping in a rad full in under an hour it still wasn't noticable from inside the car once it was running.
I would just keep a very close eye on the temps, and check your coolant levels before you drive it for a while.

I blew my coolant seals prob. an year ago, I ended up using the ceramic sealer from Moroso, no complaints car still running only $13!

The smell from the exhaust in my experience was sweet.
