White paint on housings???
i hve been getting some flack lately because i am painting my engine white and silver. my car will eventually be all white with a black interior and black engine bay. I wont bore you guys with the details of my body work but i was just wondering how difficult you think it would be to keep it clean, even with an aluminum underpan. I am a guy who several times waxed my car 15 times in 3 days just to get it "perfectly" shiny. so much so that everyone thought i had a new paint job. the point is, on a scale of 1 to 10 (for a very tediously attentive person) how hard will it be to keep clean???
1 - piece of cake 3- not too hard 5- It'll be tough but can be done 7- it will lok good if you do it but it will be damn hard 10 you will kick your self a thousand times over Justin |
itll look good, just its really hard to get a detailing brush down there. now if its magical non grease attracting grease with a perfect mirror finish id go for it :)

What wax r u using? Go get some Blackfire or Zaino

Ill get a pic of his white and silver engine up later today, Its already painted, just waiting to be put together.
I give it an 8...I hope you plan on detailing your engine as often as you detail your car. |

Personally, I dont like how it looks, not to mention its going to be a bitch to keep clean.
