Where to find STRAIGHT zip-ties?

I'm looking for a better way to attach my electric fan, and while looking thru my Victoria-British catalog, I noticed their "electric fan mounting kit". Included in it were what looked like straight zip-ties (like you could use them to sandwich 2 things together)

I was just wondering where these can be had in quantity (instead of 4 for $7) because I could use these in a little side-project.

I've been looking thru McMaster, but no luck. Anyone know where these can be found? Thanks.

Don't do that. It is damaging to your radiator fins. Vibration and aluminum don't mix well.
Yeah, I know the FAN manufacturer says it is ok, but what do you expect?
Get some aluminum angle material from Home Depot and build a frame to mount the fan. Looks beter and is easy to remove, and NO radiator damage.

What size zip ties do you need?

You can check your local Radio Shack. They have some zip ties. You can also check Home Depot. They usually have the LARGE zip ties. Lastly, check any electrical supply shop, they will be able to order any zip tie you want.

What is the difference b/t "straight" and "regular" 100 for a dollar zip ties? you mean the lil ends are a lil different or some shit? If so you can use that. yeah, i wouldnt nessessarily put the weight of a fan on the radiator. I have my ziped tied to the top bar thing, and to a bottom bracket, ill have to go look. The only thingi have ran through the rad itself is the thermometer for the thermostat that controls my fan.

Remember most commercial grade zip ties are only rated for 220F.

But you can get them at Home depot, radio shack, any car stereo place, etc

Pep Boys has fan mounting kits for only a few bucks that has those type of nylon ties - check there.
