where do you hook up the autometer shift light rpm wire at?

I have a shift light to put on and was wondering where to hook it up at is it the same wire that the S-AFC uses? Thanks for your help.

yel/blu from the back of the gauges is the tach... what does it need?

Thanks, can I hook the S-afc up there because it is giving some bad readings like it is always atleast 200rpm off kind of annoying thought it was due to tps out of adjustment but I adjusted it yesterday and finally got it to idle (well sort of sounds like it will choke out and the r's will dip down to 600) I hope the S-AFC isn't bad.

oh sorry it is supposed to be hooked up to the coil but since we have four of them I don't know where to put it I will jsut have to bust out my shop manual I guess.

oh yeah should I put the switch on the back at 4,6 or 8 cylinder?

If you look at the trailing coil (the one by the firewall), you’ll see coming off it a small lead a couple of inches long with a female bullet connector on it. This is the connection the factory use to connect a diagnostic tach and is perfect for aftermarket ones, shift lights and I guess S-AFC’s too. The light should be set to 4-cyl.

cool I will try that connection first and let you know if it works out!!
