in the states you wont find anything good other then a hood. they dont make trunks for the vert here in the states. best bet is to go find an aulstralian forum or something like that. over there they have more choices. over here there isnt a demand for them so there isnt a suply. know what i mean?
there are some good stock looking cf hoods on ebay.
and ebay has alot of good choices on interior cf peices. but as far as your trunk goes. good F*in luck buddy. .

well, there aren't many companies that make CF for the FC so You're better off leaving it the way it is. The weight benefits of CF over FG is minimal compared to the price difference. I know some people that have access to CF and a vaccuum system but the cost of producing anything is too high and the demand is too low. In conclusion: besides those who are vendors for this website you will not find too many other CF companies for the FC. Get your car running first and then worry about the CF parts.

Carbon Creations and ViS provide top quality CF hoods.
Sportcompactonly had CF hoods for a pretty good price.

Still waiting for Seibon to make some CF doors for the FC!

why carbon fiber? because its light? So you want to go faster? Its more money efficient to spend your money on a good turbo setup.

^^ what about fuel economy?

phoenix7 06-09-07 11:51 AM

what ABOUT fuel econommy? If you really are concerned a bout fuel economy you chose the wrong car. a Honda will weigh 2000lbs and get 35+ mpg. Imagine if you use all CF on a honda!!! mad tight fuel economy. :rlaugh: I'm done with this thread. Later ladies.

seibon offers nothing for the FC so the link is useless

retro-spec has a bunch of CF pieces but it doesn't seem to be very useful. Interior parts are not made of heavy plastics so the wight saving will be minimal (not very cost-effective IMHO) except for the radio surround (perfect for gauges and electronics).
