Where the Computer and Where does the fcd plug into....

Ok, I'm not sure where exactly the eng comp is.... If anyone knows that would be nice... and also where the fcd plugs in at in the eng comp?

The ECU is under the plate in the passenger footwell - lift up the carpet and look.

well usally the plug in for the FCD is you put it inbetween the pressure senor, you unplg the pressure seneor and plug that plug into the FCD than plug the FCD into the pressure sensor....

the fcd doesnt plug into the engine computer, it plugs into the pressure sensor on the pasenger strut tower in the engine bay. the main computer is under a metal plate under the carpet on the passgner side under the dash

You shouldn't be modifying stuff like this if you don't know some of the basics like this. I'm gonna assume that you plan to turn up the boost to 12psi and have stock fuel injection?

Can I buy your front rotor housing when your engine blows?

Qhasan31 03-14-07 08:46 PM

Boost lee, I'm actually not upgrading, thank you... So if you wanna be an ass and assume shit, it would be best for you to ask questions first. But if not, please click the the "X" at the top right hand corner of your browser thank you....... Actually I bought the car like this, it had FCD, with full blow TII racing beat exhaust system and bov....

Qhasan31 03-14-07 08:51 PM

oh yeah and an upgraded clutch....

Qhasan31 03-14-07 08:52 PM

And its been running like this for the last 6 years! SOOOO.........obviously its been just fine!

arghx 03-15-07 12:19 AM

well you better learn some stuff before you go screw up a perfectly good rotary

This info is easily found in the Factory Service Manual. If you don't have the FSM, click here and download it in PDF format for free.

While most aftermarket FCD's plug into the boost sensor, there's no reason why they can't be wired in at the ECU. That's where mine is.

Qhasan31 03-15-07 12:18 PM

I know a lot about the vehicle, just didn't know where the ecu was...... So I don't know why you guys are such ass holes on here... I read a lot about the cars, and I get my hands dirty doing all the repairs so I understand the car a lot more.... that was the only thing I need to know about...... I have a fsm yes but its almost to shit from the previous owner last year... No table of contents in it and I was looking all through it yesterday couldn't find it..... thank you......

ECU is under the passenger side kick panel.

FCDs can be the plug in type or the wire in type.

As far as the asshole comments, not sure on that one.
