Where to buy 720cc injectors?

I have a 87 TII and was wondering which injector I needed, high or low res, and also where to buy these from for a good price. Thanks.

dunno about quality, but they ARE new.....check out ebay - tonnes ranging from 500 to 1000 cc's most of them plug and play.

Where does everybody else get there's from?

I got mine from Kgparts . Slight modification needed to make them work with the stock rails but they are on sale now for about 80 bucks per and they come with clips.

720's are more expensive than 1600+ by quite a margin.

I got some 750's on ebay last night for $91 shipped. :D

rx7idgit 02-07-06 03:56 PM

Do FCs need high or low res?

classicauto 02-07-06 04:17 PM

s4's low
s5's high

BklynRX7 02-07-06 04:30 PM

^^ WRONG^^

I believ 86-87.5 is low and 87.5-91 is high but you can make either work in the other by adding or removing the resistors.

HHTurboVert 02-07-06 04:41 PM

I heard that you don't need to worry about the resistances. If anyone has damaged their ecu or found that using the wrong impedence injectors caused them some sort of problem then correct me please. But I took the resistors off mine after hearing that you don't have to have them and I haven't had any problems yet. Just my 2 cents.

Im aware that you can add or remove the resistors....but re-read my post, you wrote the same thing I did

Well not exactly, what you said is that S4's use low Imp. and S5's use high Imp. when in reality, only the early S4's used low Imp. The late S4's and all the S5's used high Imp.

You can also pick up a set of used GSLSE injectors. Have RC Engineering clean them. They always come back flowing 720-725 NOT 680 as advertised:)

Actually... I sell the 720's at $80 with clips at kgparts.com

and as coxxoc stated, you can use the 5letter injectors and just have them cleaned. I also have a flow bench and ultrasonic bath and do injector cleaning for $12.50/injector.

I use Marren Injection, but I might be checking out KGParts.com..

X-JaVeN-X 02-08-06 08:34 AM

i tried the gslse trick...sent them off and even after cleaning they told me they still leaked...so..that was a waste of time...so I bought a pair of 750's from marren...and called it a day.
