wheel size on 86 GXL?

im trying to fit wheels on this car. I can get a really good deal on MOMO GTR wheels or their Monster series. I don't know if they will fit on my FC though, so does anyone know the offsets and all that for the car? Also, will 17x7.5's fit on the front and rear of the car?

17 x7.5 should fit no problem, you could go with 17x 8.5

The stock wheel size and offset is in the FAQ at the top of this section

OEM= 15x6/5 bolt-114.3/40mm offset. There shouldn't be a problem fitting 17 wheels; tires, depending on MFG mightbe a different thing. You'll fare better by checking mounting locally, then you'll know what works... especially in the front.

ok, so the wheels I want are Momo Fighters......17x8, 5x114 bolt pattern 42mm offset. will those fit on the GXL.

no. Not without spacers

You could probably get a 17x7 with a 42mm offset to work, but there is no way a 8" wheel is going on there with the offset already wrong.

yeah, you can get spacers, I think someone on the site sells them, but I'm not sure who
