Problem is I don't know what the offset is on these wheels is they came off an Rx8, looks like a negative offset but can't be sure from the pics. I'm not much of a wheels guy so the term offset is new to me.

you need to go measure the offset(or have the seller measure it) and you can use the calculator to work out if they will fit or atleast have a closer more informed guess.

I did end up buying those rims posted in the pic above. They are 17x7's I plan on either 225/50/R17 or 225/45/R17's does anybody think I will have and issue with wheel rubbing. I'm planing on putting a set of coilovers on to.

No one will be able to tell you for sure unless you give the offset of the wheels. The best I can tell you is 'probably'.

stevensimon 01-19-12 02:24 PM

why would you want such skinny wheels?

they are also probably +35-40 range so i would say 215 45 all around and you should be ok with coilovers but its going to have a super awesome battleship look

Yeah working on the offset its cold as balls out. So I have to walk a ways to my apt garage to take meaurements. Actually I'm doing a 4x114 to 5x114 lug swap, so these wheels will look ton's better when all done.

Probably because he has an s4 base model (under his profile) and those are a huge upgrade over 14" phone dial stockers. NA's don't need more than 205 of tread anyways.

To the OP: the stock T2 offset on 7" stock rims is +42. Anything lower than that +30-40 will work just fine. If you are concerned with going "mad flush yo" then you would want +20-25 range at the least aggressive.

^^^ So do you think the 225's will buldge alot on the 17x7's ?

Nvm I think I am gonna go with 205's cuz I read that 225's barley fit 7 inch wide wheels.
