What's Your TII's MPG?

Mine get around 16/19........:(

The Ace 09-18-01 05:12 AM

...and you are in good shape. Mine is something like 12/16 . I must be running super-rich :(

(but that way I wont have to worry about running lean with my catback, DP and intake/TID mod :D...)

Turbo7 09-18-01 05:26 AM

i think my cat is clogged so i get 9mpg, city driving.

turboedRX-7 09-18-01 07:41 AM

I was happy (kinda) to see 17.5 with my last tank...16.5 is my average and I have had some at 15.5...I now have a 88 T2 with Bonnez DP, MP, & single exhaust to SS Racing A muffler...& Intake...Zoom Zoom...Sure feels faster know that the air is getting colder around here!

My speedo and odometer aren't working too well, so if you go by them I'm getting about 25 gpm. But my estimations are saying somewhere between 10-15 for short trips from the apartment to campus and back.

My '89 TII Gets this mang MPG

My car gets 13.42-15 MPG, on a colder day like today I get about 15.5-17 MPG. My average yearly MPG is about 14 MPG =/

But considering my truck is a 1998 V6 and still only gets 11 MPG, I don't really care to much, if I put in 92 octane gas into my car I am paying the same as driving my truck, not to shabby.

Between 6-9mpg. But that is of course in a track car :)

dcamcoTII 09-18-01 08:10 PM

i only get 10 if im lucky--my plugs and wires are from 1986, could that be why?? 10 is with mostly conservative driving.

Please tell me you are kidding right? You can't really have plugs and wires from 1986. If so, CHANGE THEM NOW! :) Plugs should be changed every 15,.000 Max. I change mine every other oil change in the vert, and every weekend in the racecar (if it is on the track :D) The wires should be checked every 15,000 miles as well, and changed as needed

I changed my plugs last summer, but the wires are still original :D

17/23

Even if I spend a night racing on the street, full throttle the whole night, I still get 17. :D
