whats wrong

as i push the gas and i reach around 3.5 rpm in every gear serious power falls out, and instead of the motor winding out faster and faster it stays at a steady pase, reaches red line but no push in ur set power. on day fine the next this started happening. any ideas?

Clutch is going out.. If you have one. If you don't change out your auto tranny fluid.

Sounds like a loose secondary plug. Is this an N/A or a TII?

allforjesus06 06-17-04 06:41 PM

it should be fine. i mean, cmon you're the guy who was bragging that he went 145 mph in 5th in his N/A.

J-Rat 06-17-04 06:43 PM

he meant n/a non turbo, but still. don't you think it'd be kinda hard to get to that fast with your problem? an FC that isnt in tip top condition isnt going to get over 120...

check your seconday injectors. they are on a fuel rail on the side of your engine with the air intake (opposite of the spark plug side). usually these start leaking due to age, or the connectors on the spark plugs are bad and aren't making a good connection.
