what's that next to the boost/pressure sensor?
 
I have some mitsi branded vacuum round shaped thing on the same bracket as the pressure sensor. what is it? where's it supposed to take vacuum from and why? I've looked through the haynes and fsm it's not pictured anywhere I could see.

mitsubishi trying to sabotage my rx7. hook up a pressure source then BOOOOOOM! haha.

yeah it was factory auto.

Then if you are now 5 speed it is not used.
I am sure Satch will pop in,but If I recall correctly with my 51 year old Dusty memory that was used in Auto trans cars.
I saw it before in another thread...don't ask me to search..(I just work here!).

Styx is correct about it being for an auto. It's a vacuum switch
