whats needed for battery relocation???
 
isn't there some special kind of wire i shold use? and how would you splice wires that big? and how have some of you hidden the wires (pics if possible)

also what kinda of materials have you used?

I would like to bump this guys post ... for i would also like to know what is needed. I would like to do this mod this weekend, but not sure what it requires to move to the Pass storage bin.

I have a write up for a batt relocation that works:) Probably not the most prettiest but I don't mind.

Car stereo shops sell the wire you neeed. 2Ga is plenty for turning over a rotary. I used 12ft to get from the driver's side cubby to the original battery terminal under the hood in an FD. The connectors crimp on, but i soldered them too just to be sure. Slip some heat shrink over the wire BEFORE you crimp and solder, then shrink it on.
