ya i think its time to start a poll of the top maybe 10 items. Just breezing through the posts i see alot of requests for a triangulated strut bar for the front and rear. As well as the alum. under tray. Nearly all s5 owners would buy the Alum. coolant filler neck. aslo the brackets for a v-mount setup would be amazing seeing as noone makes that for our cars currently. You did say you wanted to make unique or hard to find parts.

Yea tomorrow I'm going to run the poll for a couple days... Then it'll be time for us to put our money where our mouth is!

Oh and we're gonna need a name... I think "Rotary Resuscitation" is perfect!

LMAO j/p about the name part...

A rear bar that goes under the carpet will be nearly useless, and will not gain you any noticable stiffness. All of them are stiff because they're straight, if you make it into a big U it's not going to be stiff at all.

Every rx owner will want the radiator top panel with the holes for the latches and the fill bottle. The stock plastic thing is the uglyest thing on the car. It seems like it would be relatively easy to make and couldn't possibly be too expensive... Think simplicity in duplication and distribution and good price appeal. You will do well just by the volume of those items that you put out.... preciate your desire to help the fc community... good luck.

Also... please make an aluminum hose/tube or whatever it is called to replace the rubber thing that goes from the throttle body to the air filter... I have never seen one for an fc. That is another ugly item that has to go.

m3 m5 small lip spoiler for the trunk of the vert?

technically i suppose its about the same thing. but ive seen different cages designed for different forms of racing just like they make drag roll cages specfically for safety while drag racing. i suppose a drift roll cage would be designed pretty similar to ones they use in track racing, but i dont really watch alot of track racing, mainly just drifting and rallying.

There's actually a source of metal intake tubes to replace the plastic ones. AWR sells them.

-Front strut brace
-Rear multi-point brace with harness mounts would rock
-radiator panel (Signal makes a nice one though)
-fender braces would be nice (Nagisa style)
-under belly pan
-cold air box
-N/A intake (like the corksport one)
-Sard knock off battery box
-Non-sliding bucket seat adaptors
-Some not $515 AUTO-EXE Member Bars would be nice
-A pre-fabbed AutoRnD style hood vent for the N/A hoods (just the vent)
-Do-luck style floor support bars
-E-fan shroud for Koyos
-Master cylinder brace

That's a bit out of our scope... There's a few members working on headlight conversions now, and at least ONE of them is trying to keep it reasonably priced...

If we had a RB presilencer to base it from, then it's 100% possible...

Keep the ideas rolling, but please be somewhat patient with us... Whatever gets the most interest is what we'll likely start with... I threw my dad the idea of a triangulated strut bar as well, and he said no problem... We'd also like to keep the price below $100 on them...
Thats what i was waiting to suggest. A triangulated strut bar for the front and a 4-point for the rear, that actually connects to the strut tower unlike the cp one.

Also ones that will be shipped unlike the cp ones,

We're gonna start out by making some prototypes for the front and rear strut bars... Here's what we decided...

For the front bar, we're gonna base it off the CP design, except it will require NO relocation of the fuse box, and will work with the stock fan... Pricing should be in the $75-80 range...

For the rear bar, we'll be basing it loosely off the CP design, except it will feature an x-brace instead of the supports going straight to the floor... Pricing for these should be in the neighborhood of $80 also, and will have the option of an intergrated harness bar for an extra cost...

Any thoughts?
The CP rear bar is useless, its doesnt bolt to the strut top but to the sheet metal on the side of the strut tower.

Are you sure about that? Either way, we're utilizing the Mazdaspeed style mounts, except non-adjustible, and with a X-braced design...
