Yes we are planning to make the TID roughly based off the Banzai design, so you can retain the use of the S4 AFM...

Sorry the bar will not have an engine brace built in...

DerangedHermit I do want to try the aero brackets, but I'm not sure what sort of time issues we'll face, since we are gonna be pretty busy with the workload we have already seemed to scare up...

I don't know if this was suggested but check this out: http://www.ioportracing.com/Merchant...oduct_Code=GB3
I ordered one of these but the problem is that it has to be modified at the ends to fit the rx7 angles.

FMIC & piping for $500.
front strut bar for $30.

HAHAHAHAHA... You've obviously never talked to a first gen MR2 owner. Few real sports car owners (front-drivers excluded) are cheaper than AW11 MR2 owners, trust me.

Hey everyone sorry for the unexpected delays... We've both had alot on our plates lately, so we had to shift focus temporarily... This is still a big priority though, and perhaps this week we can get a batch of the bars made up... We have everything sitting there ready to knock them out, but just haven't had the time or energy lately... Thanks for all your patience!

Dang, I'll pay you now for a harness bar, as long as it's going to mount up high enough... lol

Is it going to be a bolt in? I know some ppl have one that bolts across the stock shoulder strap locations, and still retains the stock belts (required for some auto-x classes)...

Seriously interested in that though, I have the harness sitting here waiting to be installed... lol

Is there anyone besides me (formerly DerangedHermit) that would be interested in these (brackets for the rubber thing-a-ma-bobs on the front)?

Damn you people, I miss my rubber pieces and need to get them back so chime in if you're also interested. More people = more motivation.

Me?

If so, here's my original post. Let me try to find the pictures I took too.

As seen from the black piece under the front left turn signal. The bracket that attaches those thingies to the car...

They don't make them anymore .

I was bored so I even checked on the rubber pieces that they connect and Mazda wants $387.50 *per* side...

well on the throttle body questions why not take a factory tb and gut it out of all the butterflies and port the **** out of it and make a single butterfly throttlebody like hondas and most cars you know to cut out the 5 butterflies in side ours so.... hmmm... it can be done dammit, i just dont know the repercutions of it like how big is to big and vice versa well ponder on it all and lets get a soloution that way throttle response is crisper do to less moving parts ( keep it simple)

That can't really be done with the stock TB... You would be better off running a 'busa TB than attempting that...

how about at turboii hood with another scoop in front of where the stock air intake is, thus transforming the stock air intake into a cold air intake

that would be pretty sick, and it would probably look pretty badass too

How about a water temp sensor pipe that has a bung for a temp gauge sensor that fits on one of the radiator coolant hoses. All you would have to do is cut the coolant hose in 2 pieces fit them on the ends of the pipe and remount. Something like this http://www.raretrick.com/index.asp?c...roductsID=7439

that's ghetto and not very accurate. if your thermostat sticks your engine will cook and you wont even know it.

I'll be posting an interest list for the front strut bars in a few minutes... We will be finishing the first batch of 10 this weekend, and we will start collecting payment Monday...
