what are those vac lines on the oil filer neck?
What are they and what do they do? I capped them off when i removed the vacuum spider, and i want to know if im hurting anything? If i do need them where should i run them too, open air or the vac system?

and I think you should put those lines back on... they are vents. your crank case pressure (wait that's a piston term ) will be sky high would cause the leaks out of seals. |
It's part of the PCV system for the rotary engine.
If you cap them, you'll cause the engine to smoke due to a pressurized "crankcase". Stock vents to vacuum source for cleaner emissions.  You can open vent it if you want, but DON'T PLUG THEM UP! -Ted |
