What is necessary to bring back the stock fan?

So ever since I first bought my car I've had alot of problems with the really crappy e-fan the previous owner installed. So I've decided to go back to the stock fan. The local junkyard is full of them but I'm not very good at mechanics. So I'm getting someone to do it for me. but he needs a list of everything I need. Is the fan, shroud and fan clutch pretty much it, or is there more? Also the car is a 87 TII. All the parts of an NA cooling system should be compatible right?

Don't forget pulley and belts.

Since the fan goes on the waterpump the pulley and belt should already be in place.

The "nose" of the S4 and S5 waterpumps are slightly different...the S4 being smaller.
Thus, the S5 fan clutch should fit a S4 pump but will not self-center on the protrusion and will depend entirely on the four studs to locate it.
This probably won't be a problem although I've never tried.
I do know that a S4 clutch won't fit a S5 pump.

AFAIK, there is no difference between Turbo and NA clutches.

That's pretty much it. Get an 8-blade S4 fan rather than a 10-blade S5 fan to ensure it fits properly.

And yes, for anyone else reading the stock clutch fan can be retained with a turbo upgrade. this is a T04S on the HKS cast manifold with the stock clutch fan. You just need to cut a chunk of the fan shroud. I used an air saw (like a small sawzall powered by compressed air). Then I made that intake by buying the elbow and cutting it a little bit to make the filter fit.

I'm pretty sure that the fans are interchangeable...it's the hubs that differ.
