looks to me like a very mild streetport with a tiny bridge.....

Boostmaniac 05-25-06 01:34 AM

It kinda looks like a small half bridge. I bet it breathes pretty good though. Could use a little touch up and port matching... but not much.

eriksseven 05-25-06 02:29 AM

Funky... Maybe someone was trying to create a more "streetable" bridge? I dunno, I personally wouldn't run it--but that's just because I don't know enough about that particular port to judge it correctly. :dunno:

Do you know the setup of the motor it came out of, or how long they had been running it before tearing it down?

Funkspectrum 05-25-06 02:40 AM

looks interesting. I agree with eriks post.

Looks like someone tried to make a half half bridge....a quarter bridge, lol

GUITARJUNKIE28 05-25-06 02:42 AM

either fill that thing up or pull it down another inch or so.

all it's gonna do is mess up your idle without helping power significantly as-is.

hondahater 05-25-06 07:01 AM

looks like whoever just wanted a lopey idle like a bridge without "messing up" streetability. I think it's strange. I have no idea what this came out of or anything. Some guy wants to sell them to me for 150 bux.

evelhalo 05-25-06 07:27 AM

its still small enuf, buy it and port it yourself, half bridge/?

My5ABaby 05-25-06 07:37 AM

$150... what's the specs on them? That's a good deal if they're usable.

Aaron Cake 05-25-06 09:00 AM

Seems like a pointless bridge port. I doubt that it would even cause a lumpy idle as it's insanely small and very high up. Weird. Maybe someone was practicing porting?

hondahater 05-25-06 10:04 AM

so what do yall think? buy and bridge or don't buy because like aaron said they are too high? Or does very high and too high mean differant things? Just needing some input because I already have fine side housings just not ported.

RRTEC 05-25-06 10:07 AM

BHig.

hondahater 05-25-06 10:09 AM

huh?

Aaron Cake 05-25-06 10:35 AM

The height is no problem, but it's not so much a bridge port as it is a hole drilled in an iron. :) To make it usable a an actual port you need to continue the eyebrow down to the bottom of the port runner.

RETed 05-31-06 09:53 AM

Looks like a "chicken shit" bridge to me...
