I just want something better than the stockies. mild drop for agressive look and stiffness for good cornering. A friend had told me that soilver kits are different than damper kits. What is the difference. I though they were all the same. What are the precautions I should look out for when stalling neew coilovers? Sorry for asking such newbie question but I am new to the game.

if you dont want to shell out money for good coilovers, then just invest in tokico illuminas on tanabe or tein springs.
do the bushings, replace the shifter bushings/boots, all that, make it reliable.

I really think you'd be happy with a nice set of shocks and a set of lowering springs. Everyone thinks they need "coilovers", but they don't.

And in the end it really comes down to just that... Do what you want to do.
