What to get?

I am selling my 95 Camaro to have some extra cash for my 87 TII. I am hoping to get atleast 4-5k for the camaro. I would like to put 1000 away in the bank for emergencies, so im looking at around 3-4k to spend on my rex. I need to upgrade my fuel system, but what else should i get???? Im looking for about 75% performance and like 25% looks ( i mainly want performance, but good looks is good too). Also, i will need a paint job, and am thinking about doing my own unless i can find someone who will do it, but let me help them so i can save some money. i have 2 cars that need to be painted, so i need to save where i can. so my 2 questions are:
1)what should i get with the money?
2)how should i get it painted... names and numbers for possible professionals in the upstate NY area.
thanks

PS: I know that i have the car up for sale, but unless i get the $5k, i doubt im going to sell it so i wanna start looking now bc the good weather is coming and i need a car

The stock setup should get in the 250-275HP range, but you may need larger injectors, fuel computer (or standalone ECU), and other turbo system upgrades. Other power upgrades are removal of Air pump, FMIC, different rate turbo wheel for more air volume, full Racing Beat exhaust & down pipe.

With that HP, you should be faster than a 3rd gen's stock setup.

Corksport sells some good bodykits with replicas for cheaper.

Maaco can spray you car & parts with decent results, but expect some minor swirl marks, orange peel, etc.. If you really prep the car before they paint it by removing stuff & taping off areas, they might spray your OEM trim & bodykit for a small bit more. Just make sure they use a flex-agent in their paint when they spray your flexible body parts.
