What does everyone mean by when.....

i heard of someone saying they rewired their FD fuel pump!!

Could i do this to my 87 N/A???

What happens when i do this???

There is no reason to ever rewire a NA fuel pump. If anything get a TII pump; but even that is only for extreme cases (nitrous).

Older mazda wiring, including the ones that run to the fuel pump is too small and poor to give the fuel pump a full 12-14v to the pump. If you put a volt meter to the fuel pump and drive it at WOT, you can check to see how much voltage your getting. By running an bigger copper wire right from the battery to the pump you can give the pump extra juice and will increase its output.

On my 323, i ran a fused (30amp) wire from the battery to a 30 amp bosch relay. I used the factory fuel pump wiring as the trigger. I also upgraded the ground wire as well.

and that WORKED maybe that 's what i need to fix my hesiatation????????????????? what does everyone think?

An NA will almost never need to see the maximum output from its stock pump, unless you have some serious mods. I think your problem is elseware.
