Comment: Auto., new brakes & tires, good body & int. Engine floods. 240 km. $650. Bring cash.
The only problem i have with it, is that its auto....but i think thats pretty cheap for a 1988 RX-7...the price is in canadian $$ too.
with the money thats saved, i can nicely fix it up.....but how bad are engine floods....and how hard are they to fix, or can the car still be driven...or not driven at all.

that looks like hours of shear enjoyment trying to fix that thing up to good condition.
how about this.. how much cash do you have? So say you buy 650.00 car.. do you have alot of extra bling bling to get it along it's way?

It's really up to you but I've gotten better looking parts cars that needed less work for around 600.00.I have a 91 n/a that needs a rebuild with less than 90,000 on it I'll sell you for a 1000$.also with a auto.

ye the auto part of it is pissing me off lol
but that price is $650 canadian
so around $400 american, and up here in canada, I can't find much better deals
what i wanna do is buy it, and slowly start to fix it up with the money that i have
like thats what i've always wanted to do...do everything myself
I don't want a car thats already suped up, has a nice body kit and all that, I wanted to do it all myself, and fix it up myself.....the engine of course I'll reserve that for a specialist....but i'm getting the engine fixed up with my money...so to me...its more do it myself
because the car looks pretty basic....I can get a wing, body kit, and redo the paint, and i think it might start to look decent.
and someone said engine flooding is due to leaky feul injectors.....so if i replace those....should that solve the problem....and how much would that come too $$$

Flooding could be caused by bad injectors, computers, no spark, or no compression. with a car that floods, always warm it up whenever you start it. A cold cycle will incite a flood.
For $400, it's probably a good deal unless EVERYTHIING needs replacing.

Flooding in this case will probably be due to a dying engine. The auto trannies are very hard on rotaries (carbon build up). For $650, it's a good parts car. But don't count on it being repairable...or at least worth repairing. You can probably find a car in much better condition for $1000.
Oh, and if you intend to come to RX-7 meetings around Toronto, best not install the "wing and body kit"....Especially in a auto tranny car...
