What to do with switching actuator check valve
So I am putting a standalone ECU in my car over the winter, and I am wondering what to do with the switching actuator check valve. The harness is going to be deleted for it. I know I could run a wire with 12v until 3000 rpm (or whenever it switches) but I am currently lazy and plan on upgrading the turbo next year. What happens if I leave the actuator open to atmosphere, or held open with a wire? Once I upgrade the turbo, it will be deleted.

yes air bypass valve = recirculating BOV
so in the check valve is there so the solenoid and actuator never see boost (or only see boost, depends on which way the valve goes). if you're deleting the thing, just remove the whole setup and cap it. may be a good place for a boost gauge actually |
