what to do about seized aux. port actuator?
 

doing an emissions delete on my car.

since everything was torn apart, thought i would do some house keeping under the hood.

now since the aux. port actuators are easily accessable at this point, i figure i would check to make sure they still function properly. the rear actuator still works, but leaks. the front actuator is seized up (had to use a rubber mallet to get it to move).

so what are my options at this point? plug the vacuum ports with JB weld and wire the ports open? try and find some working actuators for cheap?

I personally like to keep the function of these. Some however just wire them open.

The one that is seized may not be the actuator but build up on the sleeve. If you want to keep them then remove the lower intake and clean everything. At this point you can decide if you want to install some pineapple racing sleeves also.

no... its the actuator... before pounding it with a hammer, i removed it from the engine. both sleeves are still fluid.

+1 to keeping them active. Keeps your bottom end better which i like for driving around town. I might have a couple spares I could sell ya cheap. Can't remember for sure, can check when I go home next weekend. PM if interested.

clean them with carburetor cleaner and lube them with MMO.
