I bought this car in a japanese auction. Given the nature of those auctions, you have a very limited amount of information on the car when buying, so it`s a bit of a lottery. Paid around 7k USD. Car is running fine and seems to have some very nice mods: Advan wheels, AP Racing brakes, SARD? single turbo kit, Power FC, ATS LSD. I should be receiving it in about a month and I`ll know more details then.

By the pictures it looks really good, looks like whoever owned it did their homework and knew what they were doing, or had a shop do it all (more probable over there)

If you paid 7K and that includes the boat ride and all the legal BS, i don't feel thats too bad

Yeah, the car has a couple of stickers with the name of the rotary shop that did the work ("Reaction Racing"). It is also listed in their webpage very briefly: 13B Sideport K27MOJ(FC3S). That`s all it says.

MAZDA | ???? | ??????????????????????????????????????????? (it`s on page 3)

All said and done I`ll probably pay 10k including taxes/fees/legal.

thats a nice car. plan on changing fluids, filters, and the thermostat neck and then leaving it alone.

reaction racing is a smaller shop, but they've been around for a long time.

What you've gotten yourself into is an almost 30 year old car that is historically guaranteed to cost you both arms, one leg, and at least your first born child.

Enjoy. :-)
