Need a bit of advice 88 rx7 vert

Hey guys

So i finally got my bumper off took my a few hours because for some reason i didn't think to look under the wheel well to get the 3 nuts off the right and left side.in stead i struggled to stick my hand with my ratchet under the light through small holes of the frame... yeah blond moment there. Took off the bumper and the Styrofoam and the fiberglass i see this f***ed up bracket that i cant unbolt because it is bent to hell and the only way i see im going to fix it is if i grind it off and go to pick and pull and go though this same crap just to get one freakin bracket. So my question is: Should i cary out my plan or is there a better way here ? Here is a ling to the gallery http://img198.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc02419e.jpg
