What broke on my clutch pedal?

Noticed a clicking sound when releasing clutch pedal, little pieces of broken plastic on the carpet.
What was this?

That was a piece of plastic that pushes that plunger for the switch in when the clutch pedal is up. Not super familiar with FC’s but thats probably the switch that keeps you from starting without the clutch pedal pressed. You can replace it or stick a nut and bolt through.

There are two switches at the clutch pedal. One switch is depressed when the clutch pedal is in the up position. That switch is for the cruise control. The other switch is depressed when the clutch pedal is in the down position. That is starter safety switch. Both of these switches have bumpers on the pedal. Your photo looks like the upper or cruise control switch. So, your cruise will not work with that bumper missing. BTW, this same bumper broke on my car several years ago.

Here are parts listing for the two bumpers.

Thanks guys! Cruise isn’t even installed, guess I’ll just remove the switch or plug the hole with a nut/bolt.

This is what I did for the bumper for brake light switch on my truck. Works like a charm. I think I got mine at Walmart even.
