same as subject what is a block off plate i have no idea and i wanted to know if some one could tell me

In general terms: a piece of metal that is attached to the engine or a component by way of RTV/bolts or gasket/bolts to keep fluids or air from leaking in/out.

Example is of people that premix their cars. They use a blockoff plate for where the stock MOP was.

No, don't remove it! You've misunderstood what AcidShock meant. The OMP is just one example of something that must be replaced by a block-off plate if it's removed. The name is pretty self-explanatory. There are lots of items on the engine that will need one if removed. Where's yours?

A block off plate covers a hole where some other part used the be to let the engine run right. If you take it off, you have to put the original part that was there back on and rig it up to work again.

Yeah, I messaged him on AIM and made sure stuff was clear. He has block off plates for his emissions equipment. His MOP is still in there, I believe.

on the diagram for the Metering Oil Pump, i noticed two lines going to the upper intake manifold and two going to each rotor. How do you compensate for that by removing the MOP? I understand the injectors will spray oil into the housing but what about the UIM?

when you remove the mop, or omp, you compensate for the lack of oil by putting it in your gas like you would for a two stroke engine.

there are various benefits and drawbacks to this.

pros:
better lubrication distribution
cleans carbon
you get to use synthetic oil

cons:
you have to premix. dont forget. you can forget like... once as the oil is retained and there is still premix left in the tank, but just put it in the next chance you get. it will mix properly as the gas gets sloshed around and mixed via the recirculating fuel system.

If premixing I would hate to forget even once with the engine running more than 10 seconds. Primarily because if you filled the tank full from a near empty state, you would end up diluting your gas/oil ratio ten fold or even worse, the only fuel that would have an acceptable ratio would be the fuel already in the lines, which isn't very much considering how quickly what doesn't get injected will be pushed back into the tank.

Yes, I always keep a little 6.4 ounce bottle of the junk in my glove box just in case I have to put gas in and the station doesn't carry any 2-stroke.

I always carry at least one 16oz bottle so I'll always be using the same TCW3 oil.
