Mineral oil (non-synthetic)
In the South in a high mileage motor - 20w50 SJ.
In the North in a low mileage motor - 10w30 SJ.

I use castrol GTX 20w-50. I only drive my car in the summer though, so if used in colder climate you might want to go to a thinner oil. Most people will advise to stay away from synthetic, because of how the rotary injects the oil into the combustion chamber.

20w50 in the summer and 10w30 in the winter. All non-synthetic.

Does it matter if the motor has recently been rebuilt? Someone told me that its goos to run like 10w 40 for awhile b/c 20w 50 would be to thick.

I read that if synthetic is used that it is bad because it doesnt burn and will damage your cat.

I'm using 10-40 Castrol Synthetic. Although, Amsoil comes highly recommended, from what I hear.

I use Mobil One. Either 10W-30 or 10W-40 it works well. I like showing off the way my oil comes out almost unchanged from when I put it in. Unlike my friends Altima which comes out like black sludge.

Note to self: Start doing oil chance every 2000 miles now.

I plan to switch to Amsoil 10w-30 at my next oil change.

I heard that 10w-40 sucks!

yeah, synthetic should be fine if you disconnect the omp lines and run premix.

some people use synthetic even without disconnecting the omp...rob at pineapple racing recomended mobil 1 to me, but i'm sticking with the dino juice (20w50).
