what am I suppose to do for intake?
I never see any kits for intake for RX7's, but I see every9one with just the open filter. But when you do this where does the air pump hose get hooked up to? I have a 88 N/A

You can find a cone filter with two little holes to fit both hoses (I think HKS and Blitz had those a while ago), or you can simply buy a generic K&N cone and a little breather. Install the K&N right on the AFM, and the breather right on the inlet of the airpump....thats what I did...

there is also a mini cone filter that connects to the air pump. they are about $10 - 20 very easy and no hoses. just the little filter. it looks kind of like the old crankcase filters on the old v8s

get hks adapter from k2rd.com ($25)
http://www.k2rd.com/images/afm1.jpg and cone K&N filter of your choice ($40-50) and you are set |
hell you can use a old v8 crankcase filter
thats all I did |
You can A) remove the airpump B) buy a small filter for the airpump hose C) buy one of those double-holed filters or D) ghetto rig it with some screen & a clamp :D Thats what I did since I will be taking off the airpump eventually.

Or if you are lazy and you want to spend MORE money, then get the Bonez kit from www.rx7.com . I recommend the other route though.

you just have to get the pipe part, and a cone intake. speed shop sells the pipe with the k&n cone on it for like $75.

i went down to the local lawnmower shop and picked up a filter for a few bucks.i did have to tape 1 end shut, with a clamp around the other,so it looks a bit weird....but,wont bother me anymore, the ap is going for good:)
