if thats what i think it is it should be on the backside of the waterpump housing...that hose should go to the bac then go back into the engine....if ur ridding ur bac it should just go back to the engine...(its a coolant line)

Single conductor inside the *plug*??? Maybe the aux fan temp sensor. GUESS
