weird problem
 

when i floor it and the RPM's reach about 5000 it feels like i let off the gas and re floor it. i can see the RPM's go down like 500. it does it in between 5000-5500 rpm's. it just started doing it 2 days ago. .could it be the injectors? BTW the car is an 87 N/A

Is everything stock? And after 5500 she's normal again and keeps pulling? If so, sounds electrical, if anything. We've got a couple of threads going on the front page just now about grounding, if you'd like to peruse them...

You don't have an air/fuel ratio gauge, huh? It'd be nice if you knew what the A/F was doing during this stumble of yours...
