Weird noise... bearing damage?

So I start my car today and suddenly im hearing sort of a deep scraping sound coming from the engine. This is not the tranny as it happens with or without the clutch engaged. Its got oil and oil pressure (stock oil gauge does not work but I checked oil pressure after I changed my oil yesterday) when I put oil in I switched from 20w50 to 10w30.

This is on a new rebuild with 1k miles on it. I did not notice it the previous day but I assume this is the result of me taking it up to 5k rpms 1st-3rd with no boost. Can hear the noise at 1500rpms and below (sounds normal above 1500) and there are no weird vibrations or the like. No power loss at any rpm (though I did not go above 3k this morning) and the idle isnt low. As a matter of fact my tps went out of adjustment as well as my idle so it hunts and spudders anywhere between 1500-2000 but its done this since ive first cranked the engine. I used all new bearings in this build.

Im probably just freaking out over bearings when its probably just something loose in my engine bay which I will check out later. Oh well... if I did screw these bearings at least I wont have to wear in another set of apex seals. I hate sitting at work thinking of all the things that could be wrong with my car.

edit: Ive checked the front thrust bearing four times before I put the front assembly together so im sure that is not the issue my first oil change was clean with no visible particles in it. At least not that fine metal-particle sludge I see on Aaron Cake's site.

Could I also be using oil that is too light for the weather? It was about 53F this morning and about ~65 in my garage when I cranked the car.
