I just picked up an 87 turbo 2 rx7, it has a very loud exaust leak, and concidering what the exaust looked like i wasnt' supprised. (i'm noew to rx-7's) after i got under the car, figuring my trusty welder would help me out as it has in the past (for a temp solution) i ripped off the heat shielding and found a very nice looking exaust system. baffeled, i start the noisy thing up and get user the car (jackstands and all the other safty stuff) the noise is louded when my head is behind the downpipe, it's pretty loud from the top of th ecar but the bottom behind the downpipe seems the loudest. i've yet to get the heat shield off the turbo (i wanna put that one back one, so it'll take longer) i'm thinking that it has to be the first elbow in the exaust pipe as i cannot imagine the exaust being that loud from some small manifold leak, but, liek i said, i'm new to rx7's

Has anyone had a problem like this? is this something common, or am i just lucky? are exaust parts available for this year car ?
