Weapon R Secret Cold Ait Intake.
 Gentlemen,
Has anyone here used a Weapon R Cold Air Intake System? The hype looks good, but then again doesn't everything that comes out on the market. If you have used it or know anyone who has 1st. hand practical experience with this particular system please give me some feedback. If not then please don't guess or make any statements that you can't back up. I don't mean to sound abrupt or kurt. I want facts, NOT conjecture! What type of cold air intake system do most people find to be the best on the market at this time? Thank you very much for your intelligent comments. As always your input is appreciated and respected. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Robert |

pretty much nobody uses it. it's ebay garbage, the only person that really makes a true CAI is mariah motorsports, there using the K&n intake setup and make there own heat shield, or you can make something similar yourself

No, I've never used anything with the word "weapon" it in on my car. Anything that is marketed to sound like its going to kill something isn't what I want under my hood :)

you could use the prelude CAI and use your own filter. It works really well.
If you search you should find the tutorial for it. |
wepon R is for Honda loosers

Are you serious?> There was a friken thread about this yesterday!
|
LOL! I just made a thread like this earlier this week on this forum! but yeah to sum up everything everyone said, "It would be better in getting a cheap autozone intake and putting a KN filter on"

You do realise that an over-priced length of pipe after the filter is not a "cold air intake" right? Do you understand what the term actually means? The name is a clue...

If done properly you can use the prelude CAI kit to make a proper CAI. You use the pieces form the kit and your own filter and adapt it for the FC. It does involve cutting of certain body panels to do properly, though.
