WHich way to mount AFM? 88 TII

just wondering I saw a pic somewhere with the ripped side facing up, is this correct? I'm puzzled....

You can mount it with the "ribbed side" up or the "black plastic cover side" up. It doesn't matter. However, do not mount the AFM on its side. Gravity will have an effect on the AFM flapper door giving the ECU a fake reading.
