Water Thermo sensor wire terminal
Can anyone help me identify what kind of connector/terminal this is I can't figure it out. I think it may be the cause of my cold start issues.

connector is very similar to a Bosch EV1 connector. if this is not hooked up it will cause all kinds of issues, and in fact you'd be lucky to get the thing started at all

Thanks I'll try to find one

Ok so I replaced the sensor and the connector and I still have the check engine code. I'm guessing the wire is broken somewhere and I need to find it? I'm also going to see if the afm is in spec because I read that might cause starting issues. Am I on the right track?

Does anyone know where this wire is supposed to go? It was just sitting there unconnected with no terminal or anything. I thought it was supposed to go to the thermosensor but since I've not seen any pictures of there being a three wire variant I believe that I was wrong and did more harm than good. So I got the correct wires hooked up and checked the codes and the water thermosensor code was gone. I ate lunch came back and the code was back. Can anyone please explain how this happened?

The pins push back into the connector sometimes. I'd double check it.
