Water Thermo Sensor
Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if there is any difference b/w the wiring harness connector for an S4/S5 and N/A/TII Water Thermo Sensor. I managed to rip the wire out of the connector the other day and I''m looking for another one. Also, if I'm running a Haltech E6K and an aftermarket Water Temp gauge, would I even need the stock sensor anymore? Thanks. -Kenji |

Thanks for the reply.
The Haltech has already been installed, but the shop that did it, made another hole for the haltech sensor and spliced the stock one into the harness. I'll take a closer look to confirm. So your saying that the stock water temp gauge should now work off of the haltech sensor? Because I don't have my aftermarket water temp gauge yet and I can't drive the car if I can't see the engine temp. Obviously. -Kenji |
You could always compare the dash reading to the one on your engine monitor page on your laptop.

Ok then. That helps save me some head ache I think. Of course I can't start the car up again until I get my new oil lines in (hopefully tomorrow). I'll let you know what happens.
