Water pump stuck
 

I was trying to remove my water pump when I realized that one stud was keeping it in place. Anyone have any suggestion's on how to get it out? I tried bending it slightly but it won't budge. Need help on this guys.

Slide it off the stud? Remove the stud? I don't understand how its stuck

I tried pulling. I tried prying. It seems to be bent a bit upwards and doesn't allow any forward movement.

Sounds like you need a bigger hammer.... try a stud puller and unscrew the stud. I still don't see how you could have bent the stud.....

try and take a razor blade around the outside to try and cut the gasket or sealant, other than that you should be able to tap it with a mallet to get it free. are you talking about just the water pump or the housing too?

Housing. Sorry I didn't clarify that.
