Wastegate porting question
 

I just finished porting my wastegate my question is.
Is it possible to install a bigger flapper in place of the stock
one, if so where can I get one.

If you don't install a bigger flap you're basically wasting your time.

NZ did you jb weld the washer on or
did you spot weld it?

I think he mentioned either in that post or somewhere else that he spot welded it. Would jb weld hold up with all that turbulance and heat?

I am not sure if jb weld would hold up,
I seriously dont think it would work.
I guess thats my answer.
I was just wanting to verify if
you could by a aftermarket flapper
that would work.

I welded a stainless steel washer onto the face of the stock flapper.

JB Weld wouldn't last 60 seconds! :p:

The washer was TIG-welded onto the flap. It's a continuous bead, not a spot weld.
