I'd avoid ebay for the pump. I have heard of knockoff Walbro's.

here is a fuel pump guide (it's meant for the 3000GT but it's a good read): http://www.stealth316.com/2-fuelpumpguide.htm

walbros are hit or miss.. Ive heard of them dying on people....

a factory denso made pump from a high end japanese car is good, like supra , z32 etc..

but if you need a easy affordible replacement, the walbro will do. You can probably find some local in your area too if you call around some performance shops.

You can get an FD pump for cheap in the 3rd gen classifieds. Definitely go with name brand parts.

Walboro 255s are a good pump...

I've had my Walbro 255 for 4 years. I know a LOT of guy run them and never had a problem. If you constantly run your fuel low, it will run hot and die prematurely.
Don't blame on the pump.

so high or low pressure? also what do you mean run your fuel low? like not use the full potential of the pump? because a 255 will support about 800bhp which I will not even be close to.

By running your fuel low he means below the 1/2 tank mark. It will always be hard on a pump when you start running with your gas tank below a half of a tank. I would get the Walbro 255lph because it will accommodate the needs well beyond what you are going to be running so it will in turn run for a longer period of time, but once again, if you run low fuel there is no guarantee how long the pump will last.

Hope this helps.
