voltage issues
well ive search the forum and i cant seem to find anything but ive been having issues with my charging system.anyways at night thats when it really gets bad.if i have my a/c,stereo,lights(hids) on when i come to a stop and i have my brake lights on the stereo turns off but comes back on and also my driver light starts to flicker once im going on the road already its fine i just bought a battery this morning and i havent notice any change could it possibly be my alternator? if you have any tips it would really help.
thank you |
Why not perform a check of the voltage... Make sure you're running somewhere around the 14V area. Any lower and it might be catastrophic for the battery and you.

its probably the HID's check if when you turn them on the alternator starts humming. this happened to a friend of mine and he had to get a higher amps alternator.

Typical Halogen = 55 watts Typical Xenon (pretend HID) 90 watts Typical True HID system = 35 watts |
