vert owners, targa top question

Anyone have the bag for their targa top? This is the bag your top fits in so you can place it in the trunk without worrying about scratches. I bought a vert last year and the guy said he was unable to find the bag. Curious as to what these look like.

Also, anyone ever noticed your passenger seat doesnt slide as far back as your drivers seat? This is unimportant I know, but I cant figure out why mazda did this.

i have one, its just a pleather (with cloth on the inside) bag, shaped to the targa top, with velcro to keep it shut, and on the bottom side there are two foam rails that the t-top rests on when its in the bag and in the trunk

they are on ebay from time to time

I would guess because the car came with option steering column adjustment. Moving the chair back more would allow for some comfort. I guess.

the car has steering column adjustment... how?

No steering column adjustment on the SRS (airbag) 'verts.

I don't have the bag but I'm not worried because I never remove the targa section. With the targa off the rear section acts like a giant scoop, blowing air into the back of your head at what seems like twice your road speed. Tried it once, never bothered again. ;)

I removed the passenger seat to find out why it would not go back as far. Thought maybe some trash in the seat rails. Turns out there was a bolt/type thing screwed into the seat rail that limited the seat travel. I have no idea why.

I have an 89 vert an the only steering wheel adjustment I have is tilt. No airbag.

It is so the automatic belt stays over the sholder of a small (child) passenger.

The last one of those bags I saw on eBay went for $63.00
