Venting bov
I want to vent my stock bov. I have the airbox inlet hole capped and no leak... and everything conencted correctly but my car keeps stalling for some reason...? Do i need to adjust the idle...? also I just took a turboxs off of it and it idles perfect with that on.

any ideas ???? Its kinda critical for me to figure this out soon
Thats because the stock BOV inherently leaks. You need to install a one way check valve to prevent the leak under vacuum.
Better yet, but the turboXS back on, or just recirc your stocker. |
where do i install this checkvalve at?
before the BOV
where would i find a check valve that will open up enough to release the air from the bov??
um i got a big brass one from lowes.
why did you take the turbo xs off? j/w
its back on now....reason i took it off was because i didnt have it welded on ,long story i had this crazy tube setup going at the time.
just search up venting the stock bov or somethign like that
back before i got my greddy type S i did this ... you can get the parts you need at lowes or home depot ... its not hard at all .. hell i'll send you my old janky assembly if you pay for shipping and like 5 bucks for my troubles ... lol |
i had a turbo xs bov on mine i just took a small like a 2 inch flexable radiator hose and i used hose clamps to hold it to the sleeve that your suposed to weld into your ic pipe then i zip tied it to my charcoal canister to keep the bov from flyin all over LOL it worked good it was a nice rig job if your broke.....
