Vacuum line for twin scroll
I was thinking about it yesterday and I am in the middle of my turbo swap. im using an external wastegate. My question is could I use the vacuum line that used to feed the twic scroll actuator to feed my wg?? Where does this source of vacuum come from?? If nec I will run another t off the bov but I already used it for the boost gauge. And it would look cleaner because of the location of the twin scroll actuator. So let me know what everyone thinks.

Will the banjo bolt mate up?

I dont know what you mean the fitting on the wastegate is a barb one and the twin scroll used a hard line I removed with the manifold that feed to a vacuum nipple. I have no problem hooking up a regular vacuum line just need to know waht the source is

the vac line for the twin scroll soleniod vavle thingy comes from under the intake manifold by the primary fuel rail and between the two oil injectors.
ok then it should be an accurate source of engine vaccum that I can use to feed the wg I think.
yes
Doesn't that line go through a selonoid? - meaning it will only be a source of vaccuum when the computer tells the twin scroll to switch.
Yes, the green solenoid on the rat's nest does the switching. Ther is alaso a one way valve that's needed (also near the solenoid)
That is a SWITCHED Vacuum source, do NOT use it for your wastegate! That line has NO signal on it until above a certain RPM.
well mine is kinda different. the feed for the soleniod is run directly. i mean directly to the actuator. emissionsless here.

i know the thred is old but, ok so i hook a vac line from the twinscroll to the nipple on the back of the LIM thats in the middle of it, there is 2 nipples back there i belive ones off center.
edit: for got to say that i did the rats nest removal thats why im asking, i dont know where to hook the vac line to |
