vacc lines on upperintake manafold
 

A while back i had a friend help me with a leaking fuel pressure regulator, and we must of not reassembled it correctly because i recently took the upper intake manafold off and 1 of the vacc lines from the throttlebody were missing and i have no idea were its suppose to go. Its the 4th nipple down on the back of the throttle/ upper intake manafold body. anyone know were it goes.

I bet if you put up a pic you will get a responce

turbo or non turbo?

To one of the two nipples on the water thermo valve to the left of it.

if its a turbo its a little vac hose with a green check valve that comes from the throttle body

AND the other end attaches to one of the two nipples on the water thermo valve. That is the only nipple of the four that is a vacuum source. The other three are fed from the Front of the throttle body i.e. no vacuum. Just FYI.

explain how the air bleed sockets work without vacuum.

The rotor on its intake *stroke* sucks air thru the line connected to the rear of the manifold. The suction is not from the intake manifold but from the rotor on its intake stroke.
